We love our schools and we value your time.
That’s why at Academy Training & Assessment we get to know you professionally so we can build, develop and monitor the program together, so our students can succeed.
Let us manage the compliance documentation in the background, reducing the burden on our school partners.
We want teachers to do what they do best; teach.

Below are some of the ways in which Academy Training and Assessment operate to create an all-supportive environment for schools and organisations
Course Design
We take the time to sit with your teachers and VET Co-ordinators to understand the rationale as to why you want to deliver the course. This informs ATA to support with elective Units of Competency choice.
Industry Support
We conduct industry consultation to ensure elective units are backed by industry; we want to ensure that the subjects students are learning can lead to meaningful employment opportunities once they graduate.
Approved Trainers
We get to know the teachers. Sit with us and have a conversation about your skills and expertise. Share some key documents with us, such as your resume and copies of your certificates, and let us build your Trainer Skills Matrix on your behalf. Trainer credentials are a key component of the Standards for RTOs and we make sure we do it right and we do it in detail.
Collaborative Strategy
We involve you in the creation of our Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS). From unit selection, industry rationale, characteristics of the student cohort, additional learning needs and student wellbeing, we drive this forward but we involve you in this process. We love collaboration and understand how important it is to ensure quality outcomes for students.
Compliance Expertise
We inform, we advise and we guide. We will share important updates about the sector, including proposed changes to qualification training packages, to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption to the student journey. We do this because we sit on a number of Management Committees, including the Independent Tertiary Education Council Australia (ITECA) Victorian Committee of Management and the Victorian Curriculum Assessment Authority (VCAA) RTO Provider Group. We see the value in being at the table when the sector decides on important changes.
Tailored Processes
We provide online student enrolments via our Student Management System (portal) but we also offer hard copy student enrolments. We understand every student is different and student cohorts present with various characteristics, so we acknowledge this and allow access for all.
Professional Development
We deliver both online and in-person professional development activities. These will involve strategies to offer a more engaging learning environment, how to effectively embrace Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the classroom and methods to conduct suitable and appropriate assessment. These are hosted by ATA’s CEO and include industry experts as guest speakers.
