Delivery Mode

Academy Training & Assessment offers this course through an auspice arrangement with secondary schools and colleges.

 

Teachers deliver this accredited course to secondary school students as part of their VET studies with Academy Training & Assessment responsible for enrolment, registration and certification.

Assessment

Assessment may consist of:

  • Written answers to questions

  • Role plays and practical demonstrations

  • Holistic assessment

Evidence may be:

  • Written 

  • Audio/video recordings

  • Direct observation

  • Interviews

  • Documents/work instructions

Entry Requirements

All students will engage in a language, literacy, numeracy and digital literacy (LLND) activity to evaluate potential support requirements.

Units

The BSB20120 Certificate II in Workplace Skills consists of 10 units:

  • 5 core units

  • 5 elective units

 

Elective units will vary depending on consultation with industry.

Fees and Subsidies

This qualification is offered to secondary schools on a fee for service basis via an auspice arrangement.

​

There are two fees:

1. Student enrolment, registration and certification
2. VET Materials (the learning and assessment resources, per unit)
